Sobbing over the Saab

So, Brian and I bought a car back in December. It was a really good deal because there was a major problem with the engine and the previous owner didn't want to deal with it, so he sold us a very broken down car for $2500 even though he paid $7500 for the car six months earlier. Well, Brian was excited about the deal and the new project that he was going to get to work on. Then January happened. Our lives got busier and more crazy and he didn't have the time to work on the car. February passed as well as March and nothing happened with the car. Finally, a few weeks ago, he started the process of rebuilding the engine and we've had problem after problem come up. Most of the issues deal with the fact the the Saab people didn't send us all the parts we need so we've had to order more parts almost nightly. We are going to Boise this weekend and are supposed to take the car, but the one part that we needed to finish this project broke tonight while Brian was working on it. Needless to say, we're a little discouraged at this point. I just hope we can get it done by May 15th so we can take the car to California!
